The VEO BP-50T is an Arca compatible Ball & Pan Head that is designed for compact travel tripods and monopods, where the photographer wants the best of both worlds - a ball head for photography and a pan-head for video with their DSLR/mirrorless camera. The compact aluminium ball head delivers great performance. Whether you are trying to get great portrait or landscape shots, this solid ball-head delivers an incredibly solid grip for load capacities of up to 8kg/17.6lbs, which is perfect for almost all camera equipment. For those times when a handle proves invaluable, such as taking video with your DSLR/mirrorless camera, you can easily attach a telescopic handle making it a pan head. In addition, it includes a QS-72T long quick release plate that can hold any smartphone up to 85mm wide, and a wealth of accessories. Above the smartphone is a cold shoe mount, perfect for an accessory such as a light or microphone. On the side of the quick release plate is a separate 1/4" thread hole for a suitable support arm and yet more accessories. This head comes with ergonomic locking knobs that makes it easy to grip when locking or releasing the movement, even in cold, wet conditions when gloves are needed. These locking knobs offer a solid lock on the ball and a separate pan-lock for perfect panoramas. The ball head uses a standard 3/8" thread with a converter (included) to take is to a 1/4 thread, which allows it to be attached to any travel tripod or monopod.
