A rear tap switch lets you choose how many watts each pendant receives from the amplifier for zone-by-zone control. 70V taps: 20-Watts, 10-Watts, 5-Watts, 2.5-Watts; 100V taps: 20-Watts, 10-Watts, 5-Watts; 8-Ohm power handling: 30-Watts.
- True 2-Way Clarity: PEN-40T is a true 2-way pendant speaker with a separate 4" woofer and tweeter for clear background music and paging. It uses a 4" woofer with 8 oz magnet, polypropylene cone, and foam surround for clean sound quality, plus a 13mm PEI dome tweeter for crystal clear high frequencies. A capacitor crossover helps filter unwanted sounds so music stays smooth in busy commercial environments.
- Fast, Clean Installation: Rockville PEN-40T is designed for quick commercial installs with an included eyelet bracket for hanging and detachable euroblock speaker terminals. Remove the terminal, connect speaker wire, then reattach to the speaker for a neat finish. 70V wiring is straightforward by running positives to the amplifier's 70V positive and negatives to the negative terminal, helping simplify multi-speaker layouts without worrying about impedance matching.
- Compact Specs For Distributed Audio: Each PEN-40T weighs 3.5 lbs and fits into tight ceiling layouts with an ABS injection molded cabinet. Cabinet dimensions are 6.06" diameter x 7.17" height, finished in black for discreet placement. Frequency response is 70Hz-20kHz with sensitivity listed as 85dB +/-2dB, supporting clear coverage over long cable runs in restaurants, bars, hallways, and retail spaces.
