This iDatalink FOR1 dash and wiring kit allows you to install an aftermarket radio in select 2009-14 Ford vehicles with factory navigation. The package retains your Ford's steering wheel controls, aux input, USB port, and Rear Seat Entertainment system, as well as the factory amp and sub. The kit includes a T-harness to connect the new radio to your vehicle's system, along with an antenna adapter. The bezel's matte black finish matches your factory dash. You'll also need Idatalink's Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 (sold separately) for this installation.

Vehicle Compatibility: The iDatalink Maestro KIT-FOR1 consists of a dash kit and vehicle harness designed specifically for select 2009-2014 Ford vehicles with factory navigation. The KIT-FOR1 lets you replace the factory radio with an iDatalink Serial Port compatible head unit using the Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module (sold separately).
Installtion Note: The iDatalink Maestro KIT-FOR1 requires the purchase of the iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 (sold separately) and the download of a vehicle specific firmware from iDatalink's Weblink Desktop (for Windows and Mac) This kit supports Idatalink's Direct T-Harnesses (sold separately) for direct connection to select Idatalink Serial Port compatible head units (ACC-HU-ALP1 (Alpine), ACC-HU-PIO1 (Pioneer), ACC-HU-SON1 (Sony), ACC-HU-KEN1 (Kenwood/JVC with 22-Pin Connector) or ACC-HU-KEN2 (Kenwood/JVC with 16-Pin Connector) Installation T-Harness. Sold separately.) - replacing the wiring harness that comes with your aftermarket stereo (some hardwiring may still be required). If connecting to an aftermarket headunit that does not support an Idatalink Direct T-Harness, you'll need to cut-off and remove the 20-pin black connector from the harness and each wire spliced directly to the aftermarket radio's corresponding wire..
Head Unit Connection: The KIT-FOR1 supports iDatalink's Direct T-Harnesses (sold separately) for direct connection to select iDatalink Serial Port compatible head units (including Kenwood, JVC, Alpine, Sony, and Pioneer radios) - replacing the wiring harness that comes with your aftermarket stereo (some hardwiring may still be required). If connecting to an aftermarket head unit that does not support an iDatalink Direct T-Harness, you'll need to cut off and remove the 20-pin black connector from the KIT-FOR1's harness and splice each wire directly to the aftermarket radio's corresponding wire.
Factory Fit & Finish Kit: The KIT-FOR1 Installation Integration Kit features a factory grade fit & finish to match the contour and color of your vehicle's dash.
Retained Features: The follow factory features (if applicable) are retained when replacing your aftermarket head unit with a compatible iDatalink Serial Port head unit from Kenwood, JVC, Alpine, or Pioneer using the Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module and KIT-FOR1 integration installation kit.
Ford Sync: Retains the Ford Sync system; including Bluetooth hands-free communication and audio streaming, as well as USB media player.
Factory Amplifier: Retains Sony or THX factory amplifier with amplifier turn-on, digital fader, DSP settings, gain adjustment, and speed compensated volume.
Climate Display & Control: Climate display and control can be done through the aftermarket radio's touchscreen monitor.
Steering Wheel Controls: Retains factory steering wheel controls with standard or expanded radio functions, plus two functions on each button.
Advanced Camera Features: Retains factory backup camera and park assist chimes. If you add an aftermarket front and/or side camera (sold separately) to your iDatalink compatible head unit that is equipped with multiple camera inputs, the vehicle's factory auto camera switching feature is also retained.
RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment): Retains factory full system RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment).
Extra Features: The following Extra features are added when replacing your aftermarket head unit with a compatible iDatalink Serial Port head unit from Kenwood, JVC, Pioneer, Sony, or Alpine using the Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module and KIT-FOR1 installation kit.
Vehicle Info: Tire Pressure Display, Battery Voltage Display, Read/Reset Engine Codes, and Door Open Status with Warning.
Gauges: Selectable Performance Gauges, "Track Pack" Gauges, and Read/Reset Check Engine Codes.
Outputs: The KIT-FOR1 provides Navigation, Accessory Power, and Illumination Outputs to make installation simpler.
