The SPRM256B Robust 6 inch Aluminum Mount Shaft is part of Akron's Robust Mount Series and can be used with 25mm (1 inch)-compatible adapters and holders to create your own custom mount solution. This includes only the Large Aluminum Mount Shaft (holders and adapters sold separately) with tightening knob. The mount shaft measures 6 inches (152mm) tall, and along with your choice of mount head and base (sold separately), you can create a mount solution with ultimate flexibility on both ends of the mount. Use this mount shaft with Akron's APMAMPS25MM adapter to create a metal 4-Hole AMPS mount.

The APMAMPS25MM metal adapter converts your 25mm (1 inch) Akron Robust Series Mount or RAM Mount into a 4-Hole AMPS drill-base mount. (Mounts, holders, and devices sold separately.) Simply unscrew the Robust Mount shaft to remove the head or base (which ever you prefer), then insert the adapter and re-tighten the Robust Mount shaft. Use the APMAMPS25MM adapter with any current Akron Robust Mount models by removing the mount base or head: RM0802T Heavy-Duty 80mm Suction Pedestal, RM0792TWD Sticky Suction Windshield or Dash Mounting Pedestal, RM0801420 Heavy-Duty Camera Suction Mount, RM0861420 Heavy-Duty C-Clamp Mounting Pedestal with 1/4-20 Camera Head, and RM0862T Heavy-Duty C-Clamp Mounting Pedestal with Dual-T Head. The metal construction provides a sturdy connection for drilling into dashboards or other solid, flat surfaces, ideal for commercial or fleet use.
